scratchProjects.com, New Programming Site Offers Monthly Writing Contest

scratchProjects.com announced a competition for its budding website aimed at programmers and web designers.

scratchProjects.com announced a competition for its budding website aimed at programmers and web designers. Every month, contestants can send in tutorials based on real-world programming projects that will be placed on the site.

Contest winning articles will be published on the first Monday, and all other submissions will be released throughout the remainder of month. This month’s prize is a SanDisk Cruzer® Titanium 1GB USB Flash Drive and the deadline for submission is March 4, 2006.

In addition to the monthly prize, each page will display Google contextual ads, or Adsense. Ads that are served with the tutorials have a 50% chance of being from the writer’s Adsense account.
